New district leadership of the Perger Freedom Party

The Freedom Party in the district of Perg missed out on a new leadership: instead of Alexander Nerat, a member of the state parliament who is not on duty, Rosa Ecker, a member of the National Council, will head the district organization in future. She was at a party conference in the presence of state party chairman LH-Stv. Manfred Haimbuchner was elected to the office of FPÖ district chairwoman with 80 percent of the delegates’ votes. Perg Deputy Mayor Andreas Köstinger, Sylvia Waidhofer (Waldhausen), Alfred Hani (Baumgartenberg) and Lukas Peitl (St. Georgen an der Gusen) were elected as their deputies. “I would like to thank the delegates for their trust and I look forward to future challenges together with our strong team,” emphasized Rosa Ecker after the election.

Rosa Ecker is not only a Liberal member of the National Council, but also the state chairwoman of the Initiative for Liberal Women (IFF) and community leader in her home community of Saxen. In addition, she works as a foster mother. “We will work for our homeland and offer people sustainable, down-to-earth and honest concepts,” said the newly elected district party leader. Long-standing members were also honored at the party congress for 25, 40, 50 and 60 years of loyalty.
