“Yes, it’s Covid-19,” announced Mayor Rudolf Hemetsberger (Greens) of Attersee yesterday via Facebook. “I will therefore spend the next few days in quarantine.”
Hemetsberger suspected that he was suffering from Corona even before the official confirmation. The three times vaccinated and sporty politician reports that he was “really flat” last week. He had headaches, an extremely painful cough, a constant cold, outbreaks of sweat, dizziness, body aches and suffered from absolute weakness.
He is now doing much better, Hemetsberger writes on Facebook – “a lot better”. Yesterday he started to resume official business as mayor in the home office. He is also preparing for the state parliament session on Thursday. “It remains to be seen whether I can actually go there,” writes the mayor from his quarantine.
