Luis Caputo projected that inflation in 2025 will be “around 20%”
On the same day within the framework of the CPACthe Minister of Economy Luis Caputo indicated that “inflation, which ended in 2023 at 230%which this year we estimate will be at 117%, we are predicting for next year around 20%. It is still high, but it will be a very important achievement.”

On the other hand, he pointed out: “We doubled the assistance of the two most important subsidies, the Feed Card and the Universal Child Allowance (AUH)”, he said and added that these plans “today cover 100% of the Basic Food Basket.” Despite the Minister’s statements, in November, the amount of the Alimentar Card reached 108,062 pesos for families with three or more children and the AUH was 72,669 pesos, while the Basic Basket rose to 434,620 pesos.
