The Mühlviertler company Neoom wants to network the various market participants with each other and start the energy transition with energy communities.
This works in a similar way to the dating platform “Tinder”. Neoom brings local or private electricity producers together with potential electricity consumers. Interested companies, private individuals and communities can register on the website. This is followed by suggestions for possible energy communities. “Everyone knows where the energy comes from. This is all about cheap green electricity,” says Neoom Managing Director Walter Kreisel.
Neoom combines hardware solutions for energy storage with energy management platforms and services. The start-up currently has 120 employees.
