YPF inaugurated an innovative Real Time Operations Center (RTIC)located on the 26th Floor of the Tower YPF in Buenos Aires. This center seeks to optimize well drilling and completion activity in Vaca Muerta through decision making based on real-time data.
A new era in operational efficiency
The RTIC operates 24 hours a day, with a team of 88 professionals distributed in seven operating units. These include five rigs dedicated to drilling and two for completion, capable of managing up to eight fracture sets simultaneously.
The center analyzes more than 80 key performance indicators (KPIs) and processes more than 100 variables transmitted in real time, supported by advanced connectivity through starlink. In addition, it has 90 cameras that offer a constant view of operations in the field.
