Milei and Meloni have already met six times. Last month, the Italian visited Argentina and both leaders gave a joint statement to the press, in which they highlighted the ties between both countries and the political harmony between their governments.
“I think the Prime Minister Meloni and I have something in common in a dimension that is political, but is also personal. We were both chosen to lead the destinies of our country, for addressing with courage, truth and openly what we could call the central problem of each of our nations,” Milei highlighted on that occasion.
