Nighttime search: 85-year-old is missing in Vöcklabruck

The Vöcklabruck fire department, the Red Cross including search dogs, rescue dog brigade and police went out on a large-scale search operation late on Friday evening. An 85-year-old had been reported missing, the police confirmed in response to OÖN’s request. The missing person is a dementia patient who was most recently housed in a sheltered apartment in Vöcklabruck. The senior was last seen on Christmas Day when his son brought him home around 4 p.m.
