The Minister of Security, Patricia Bullrichreferred this Friday to the video released by the dictatorship of Nicolás Maduro in Venezuela about the state of the Argentine gendarme Nahuel Gallo. In this framework, the official maintained that “Everything that is happening” is “a pantomime of the regime.”
Bullrich also demanded that “the only thing that Argentina accepts is that he be put on a plane and sent to the country.”
“We do not accept any game of an appearance, of a photo, that appears in an unknown place, walking, without sound and without a date,” Bullrich said in statements to Radio Miter. And he added: “There is no condition to show that they have it well, as if it were a normal regime, this is a dictatorship and dictatorships do these things, they give proof of life.”
The Government requested precautionary measures from the IACHR for the gendarme kidnapped in Venezuela
The The Argentine Republic requested precautionary measures from the Inter-American Court of Human Rights (IACHR) in favor of Nahuel Agustín Gallothe gendarme illegally detained in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuelaconsidering that it is “an act that constitutes a serious violation of human rights.”
The petition highlights the arbitrariness of his detention and calls for urgent measures to guarantee their protection, order his immediate release and ensure his safe return to Argentina.

The presentation was made by the Foreign Ministry “based on Article 25 of the IACHR Regulations, the request emphasizes the urgency of the case and the imminent risk to Gallo’s life and integrity.”
“The Argentine Republic hopes that the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights will resolve quickly and demand compliance from the Venezuelan State. Human rights and democracy must be respected and protected by all,” highlighted the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
