The criminal complaint against Nicolás Márquez
Given the fact, the national representative Lourdes Arrieta branded as “discriminator” to Milei’s biographer and filed a criminal complaint against him for his disqualification of Bullrich.
Arrieta also communicated from X: “I just file a criminal complaint against Nicolás Márquez, for his discriminatory statements towards Mr. Esteban Bullrich. “His words violate the dignity and rights of everyone and are a bad example of preaching the ideas of freedom.”
And he added: “To say that a person ‘is only known by his illness’ It is not only a lack of sensitivity and empathy: it is discrimination. “We cannot allow this type of speech to continue perpetuating stigmas and exclusion in our society, and to spread as natural.”
“The statements of the accused, that They minimize the political career of Esteban Bullrich and they reduce it solely to their health condition, represent a serious affront to human rightss, the dignity and equality of people with disabilities, promoting a discourse of exclusion and discrimination,” the legislator noted in her complaint.
Márquez’s expressions, said the deputy, “clearly violate the provisions of Law No. 23,592which prohibits discriminatory acts based on health condition or other personal factors.”
Furthermore, Arrieta continued: “These statements violate the provisions of article 75 paragraph 23 of the National Constitution and the principles enshrined in the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (ratified by Law No. 26,378), which requires respect for the dignity and rights of people with disabilities.”
“Our position on discrimination issues is radical, we have Christian values in which each person adds to society. “Social networks are repositories of bad intentions,” said Arrieta.
