Companies, clubs, cultural institutions and schools from Upper Austria can apply for Feronia again this year. The OÖN awards the sustainability prize together with Oberbank and the state of Upper Austria. Applications are possible online until February 1st (nachrichten.at/feronia) in four categories: “Thoroughly sustainable”, “Sustainable products and services”, “Diversity of sustainability” and “Learning and teaching sustainably”.
The first applicants have already taken advantage of their opportunity. The “Tempo Radbotinnen” from Linz submitted entries in the “Sustainable Products and Services” category. The company offers its customers a sustainable transport service by bicycle or cargo bike. Everything is transported, from USB sticks to pallets. The company’s vision is emission-free inner-city transport.
