The Provincial pension agency launched the operation of a new headquarters in the interior.
He Social Security Institute (IPS) is the body in charge of providing coverage to all retirees and pensioners from the province of Buenos Aires. It has its main headquarters in the city of La Plata, but it also extends throughout the provincial territory to reach all members in a simpler and safer way. On this occasion, he announced the launch of a headquarters in the city of Junín.
This new establishment will also serve people from the neighboring city of Chivilcoy. The head of the IPS, Marina Moretti, started this new department known as Regional Directorate No. 4 on December 27, 2024. This new headquarters implies progress in terms of the production of files and resolutions, decongesting the central headquarters.

This new creation aims to provide more complete coverage to the territories of: Alberti, Bragado, Carlos Casares, Carlos Tejedor, Chacabuco, Chivilcoy, Florentino Ameghino, General Arenales, General Pinto, General Viamonte, General Villegas, Hipólito Yrigoyen, Leandro N Alem, Lincoln, 9 de Julio, Pehuajó, Rivadavia, Trenque Lauquen and Junín.
Present at the inauguration were Matías Juncos, Regional Director of the IPS Junín; Damián Natalini, Provincial Director of Territorialization of the IPS; local authorities; IPS workers and the community in general.
Public service hours
The establishment was opened on the street General Paz N° 179 between Hipólito Yrigoyen and Carlos Pellegrini. Business hours are Monday to Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
However, customer service is also available at the Pension Care Center (CAP) located at Calle Colón N° 59 between Belgrano and Lavalle, with the hours being the same as the new one. Regional Directorate No. 4.
