On the subway without trousers: Londoners on the “No Trousers Tube Ride”

Some participants were surprised with unusual underwear in bright colors or humorous prints. The organizers asked people to wear inconspicuous underwear – as if they had just forgotten their pants.

The participants met in London’s China Town in freezing temperatures, albeit still wearing trousers, before streaming into the surrounding subway stations and dropping their clothes. In London and many other parts of Great Britain, a white coat of hoarfrost covered houses, streets and vehicles overnight. The lowest temperature in 15 years was recorded in Scotland at the weekend at minus 18.9 degrees.
