The accusations against nurses and authorities of the health center start from potassium and insulin supply which led to the death of the babies in mid-2022. The cause has 11 accusedof which the main accused is the nurse Brenda Aguero.
In fact, said nurse is the marked by the death of FranciscoVanessa’s son to whom she would have given a dose of potassium or another substance not compatible with lifecausing the death of the newborn at night.
Vanessa Cáceres’ statement

“They offered me to do an autopsy When my son was still alive, I asked them to please save him, it seemed cruel to me at that moment and that’s why we told them no,” he recalled with a broken voice.
“At that moment they offered me another autopsybut they told us that maybe it wouldn’t come out, the cables were very small and maybe we didn’t know what had happened, that it would take seven days for the result. Now it bites my head because I didn’t accept“, he said in reference to the announcement that his son had died.
“They never offered me psychological help. My husband made the arrangements so we could bury my son. They discharged me, I took a bath and we went to bury him. We had to explain to 10 years old so that he understood. We didn’t understand what had happened, I left the hospital grateful thinking that they had done everything possible to save him“I never imagined something so sinister,” he concluded.
On the other hand, he revealed that found out through the media that his son was one of the five deceased in the case that is now being investigated. “It was terrible to find out that way.. “The world fell on us,” he said.
“Us They stole our trust for life. In this case, humanity was lacking, they left us helpless, they took us for being stupid, ignorant, that it was never going to come to light, and it turned out badly for them, we are seeing how they take care of each other, seeing what day one or the other knew. It cannot be that they forget the human part”, he concluded.
Yoselín Rojas’ statement
On the fifth day of the trial, Yoselin RojasAngeline’s mother, testified in front of the Court and the popular jury regarding the death of her baby on June 6, 2022. Angeline died in June of that year due to extreme bradycardia and apnea caused by excess potassium.

“It was a cold look, very strange. When he gave the baby to my partner, he looked at us very strangely. I don’t know if with pity or how. He looked at us out of the corner of his eye.. “It’s the person who took the baby.”said Rojas regarding Brenda Agüero, the main accused.
When asked where the nurse had taken the newborn, the mother responded: “No, she just took her. “He takes it to my baby and returns five minutes later but without my daughter.”
“I saw a photo of a nurse. I wanted to know who the person they were talking about was. When I saw her in the photo, I saw that it was she who took my baby.”he insisted.
Angeline’s death was the first of the cases that came to court, after the parents verified that the death certificate It had not been signed by the doctor on duty. “My baby was poisoned with potassium. They had given him a high dose of potassium,” he said through tears.
In line with that, he recalled that his daughter had been born in perfect health, but that after 15 minutes the doctors informed him that she had suffered cardiorespiratory arrest: “They told us it was inexplicable.”
“They made us believe that nothing was happening, when so many things were happening. It is a great pain. We now live with that pain for life,” he said.
Finally, Rojas concluded: “I only ask for justice. For the death of my baby, justice be done. Today I told my truth for all the murdered babies. “They killed them cruelly, innocent babies, they didn’t deserve to die.”
