Konstantin is a trauma surgeon. Surgeons and other medical staff are in demand – and yet the doctor does not work in his industry, but as a gastro assistant in Aspach. Not because he wants it that way himself, but because he is not (yet) allowed to work as a surgeon in Austria. Constantine is Romanian. His foreign qualifications are not yet recognized in Austria, but his language skills can still be improved.
One person who wants to help him change both within a year is Altheimer Olivera Rosa-Jodlbauer from the vertical starters. She brought the state-funded project “Skilled Workers in Austria” to the district and was granted financial resources to help people like Konstantin learn German, have their qualifications nostrified and prepare them for the Austrian job market. Konstantin’s wife Madalina is also included in the funded program: she is a dentist.
