In the series “Lyric on the River” on Friday, January 17th, from 7 p.m., two excellent authors will be guesting at the Hotel Minichmayr at the invitation of the Literaturschiff initiative: the Hamburg-born Berliner Jan Wagner and the Viennese Sophia Lunra Schnack. Readings and discussions will be moderated by Günter Kaindlstorfer.

“Stones & Earths” is the name of the latest work by Büchner Prize winner Jan Wagner. Twenty-two years after his first book of poems, “Test Drilling in Heaven”, his gaze now brings out the most astonishing things from the ground with pleasure. From this Wagner creates poems whose lightness and sound magic are astonishing.
