His songs have accompanied generations, have cult status like “Summer of 69”, and his concerts are still very popular. You can currently get to know Bryan Adams, Canadian superstar, better in Kirchberg-Thening – from his second artistic side.

The musician is also a popular photographer; he is in international demand for his portraits – from Amy Winehouse to Pink, from Robbie Williams to Mick Jagger. Since this week you can immerse yourself in this world of the Canadian living in London. “In Color” is the name of the photo show, which can be seen for the first time in Austria in the Galerie am Berg in Kirchberg-Thening.

Gallerist Paul Lehner was pleased about the gallery being filled to capacity with almost 300 visitors at the vernissage on Wednesday evening, which also impressed the curators Anke Degenhard and Mat Humphrey.

“A stroke of luck”

For Mayor Peter Michael Breitenauer, the Galerie am Berg is a stroke of luck for the community. “Paul Lehner’s private initiative is remarkable and a great advertisement for Kirchberg-Thening,” said Breitenauer, who has a musical connection to Bryan Adams. “In the 1980s I was a DJ and I always played his songs.” Incidentally, there is a vinyl record by Adams in his car, which Breitenauer would like to have signed by the star if he comes to Kirchberg-Thening.
