The Vocational Training and Rehabilitation Center (BBRZ) and Jugend am Werk celebrated the official opening of the new location in the renovated “Hatfabrik” in Wels on Tuesday. Where workers once made hats for the whole world, several businesses and companies from the social sector have settled in recent years: Caritas, the People & Work Meeting Point and the Proges Women’s Health Center.

Since August, the BBRZ and Jugend am Werk have also been located at the former Blum factory site. The aim is to provide people with health restrictions and young people with the best possible support on their way into the job market. The target group is job-seeking people of all ages who can no longer work in their profession or cannot find work.

Support when starting a job

Jugend am Werk supports young men and women in starting their professional lives through coaching, vocational training assistance, but also, for example, in obtaining a driving license.
