After his son’s death: Hans Peter Haselsteiner became Strabag’s general representative again

The co-owner and long-time boss of the Strabag construction group, Hans Peter Haselsteiner, is once again the general representative of the construction group and is therefore once again assisting the board as an advisor. The board of directors granted him the power of attorney on Monday with the approval of the supervisory board, Strabag said.

Haselsteiner had already held this position until his son Klemens Haselsteiner became a board member in 2020. The 44-year-old took over management of the group on January 1, 2023. He died unexpectedly on January 17th of a cerebral hemorrhage.
