If small investors are the backbone of the equity culture, how are they doing in Austria? This is just one of many questions that the head of the small investor association IVA, Florian Beckermann, answered in the OÖN podcast “Money & Life” with economics department head Dietmar Mascher. The investment expert from Germany, who has lived in Vienna for 20 years, professionally represents investors with small company shares at general meetings and also critically follows the development of listed companies in Austria throughout the year.
In the podcast, Beckermann deals with Austrians’ relationship to the topic of stock investments and also discusses the fact that politicians sometimes have a very ambivalent relationship with stocks and the capital market in Austria.
