Kias from Ohlsdorf has committed itself to the recycling of altires: In the complex, old tires are broken down into the components of rubber and steel. The end product is high -quality value materials that can be used to manufacture new products, for example for fall protection mats. The steel can also be melted down and used again. According to their own statements, half of the old tires in Austria, which are around 30,000 tons in Austria, are supplied with meaningful recycling and processed into rubber flour or granulate.
