On Saturday evening, the 200th episode of the Hockey O’Clock podcast by Puls24 moderator Martin Pfanner was recorded in the Linz brewery. Between three rounds of talk with prominent guests from the ice hockey scene, the OÖN ICHBRECHER-PODCAST was asked to discuss and record one topic in front of 100 invited guests.
The choice is on the topic “Is Linz a goalkeeper talent company?” fallen. In the podium discussion with Black-Wings goalkeeper Thomas Höneckl and goalkeeper coach Jürgen Penker, the problems of the domestic goalkeepers were discussing, with which hurdles they have to deal with and what solutions there were potentially to promote young goalkeepers in Austrian ice hockey.
And a little deeper was talked about Linz examples that searched for and found their way out of the youngsters of the Black Wings into the wide ice hockey world. At least that’s six goalkeepers in the nine -year -old aegis by goalkeeper coach Penker.
Short interviews with Oschgan, Sommer and Reder
Even before the recording, we led interviews with three goalkeepers in which Benedikt Oschgan, Leon Sommer and Martin Reder were talking about the respective path. Due to acute lack of time, these short interviews could not be broadcast on the official show, but it was very easy in this icebreaker episode.
