While other companies in the country are starting the austerity, the Gföllner Group is on growth course. The family company from Sankt Georgen near Grieskirchen creates 200 new jobs. This was announced by Gföllner on Thursday evening.
The company benefits primarily from the global trend towards electrification, increasing demand for electricity generation and progress in artificial intelligence. The modules, which were designed by Gföllner, are up to 25 meters long, weighing up to 100 tons and resembling complex machines or technical buildings. They are equipped with extinguishing systems and air conditioning and are transportable. Such containers are used in Chilean copper mines (as an electrical operating room) as well as as a electricity supplier and failure solution for data centers. Gföllner is also active in vehicle construction: truck structures, saddle trailers and roll-off containers are produced.
New work in the USA
In order to manage the demand, Gföllner plans a new work in the USA and the expansion of existing manufacturing capacities. There are currently 650 employees at locations in Grieskirchen, Weibern and Rozvadov in the Czech Republic. 70 percent of the products are exported.
