Under the magnificent dome of the Paris Grand Palais, the Chanel fashion house celebrated its 110th anniversary in the Haute Couture.
In 1915 Gabrielle founded “Coco” Chanel her label of the same name and opened a first boutique in Biarritz in southwestern France, where there were only tailor -made pieces, i.e. haute couture. The production of prêt-à-porter clothing, the word sense of “ready”, only began in the 1960s. Today Chanel is the oldest still active couture house worldwide.
The Haute-Couture collection for spring/summer 2025 alludes to the long tradition of the house with many references. You can see glittering tweed costumes, striking button strips, long black loops on blouses and crawls and the iconic two-tone shoes
Springs, color, fever
A comeback celebrated the petite black belt with golden details, which was part of almost all outfits in the show of the luxury brand.
