The annual boys’ association, which will take place in the Palais Commercial Association in Linz on February 1, also prompted the alliance “Linz against Right” to demonstrate against the “Networking Meeting for Right -Wing Extreme with elites from politics and business”. The demonstration is registered with the police on Saturday between 5:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. with 350 to 500 participants. The march is to lead from Ars Electronica Center via Nibelungenbrücke, main square, Taubenmarkt and Landstrasse to Martin Luther-Platz.

Due to the demonstration, lines 1, 2, 3 and 4 between the Hauptbahnhof and Sonnensteinstraße and Landgutstraße stops will be stopped between 5 p.m. and 11 p.m., Linz AG said. Only the Pöstlingbergbahn runs in normal operation. For the duration of the interruption, a rail replacement traffic is set up by bus. Passengers on the way towards Landgutstraße are referred to line 50 from the Hauptplatz stop. On lines 26 and 27, disabilities and short -term diversions of traffic can occur in the pigeon market and promenade area.

Sliding lock for private transport and ban on space

But there are not only restrictions for public transport, drivers also have to avoid. The country road is also closed to private transport from 5 p.m. to around 11 p.m. between Goethestrasse and Gerstnerstrasse. During the demonstration train, there will be short -term locks along the route.

Around the Palais Commercial Association, as in previous years, there is again a ban on space – as in previous years. It affects parts of the country road and Bismarckstrasse, City Park and the underground car park Park Inn on all floors, including their access routes. The regulation will be canceled, “as soon as there is no more at risk”, but at the latest on Sunday at 5 a.m.
