Package from “Pablo Chocobar”: hash brownies made London postmen high

The British Post said on Thursday that it had launched an official investigation into the Clapham incident. A video showing postmen stumbling through the area had previously been widely shared in online networks. “Today all the postmen in Clapham accidentally ate hashed brownies and I had to collect them all one by one because they were so high,” reads the caption for the video, which has since been deleted. Among other things, it shows an employee who has significant difficulties pushing his trolley around. Later, the same postman is apparently seen sitting in the delivery office and a colleague says, “He had two of these”. The seated man corrects him: “I had four”.

The brownies had apparently been taken by staff from a packet that hadn’t been picked up in a month. It said “Food by Pablo Chocobar” – in reference to the drug lord Pablo Escobar, who was shot dead during a police operation in Colombia in 1993.
