Rescuers try to get to a child who fell three days ago into a deep well in northern Morocco. On Friday, February 4, the Hespress newspaper reported.

A five-year-old boy named Rayyan fell into a dry well about 32 meters deep three days ago. The incident took place in the province of Chefchaouen.

It is reported that the operation to save the child continues all these days. The boy is expected to be pulled out on Saturday.

Rescue operations are complicated by cracks in the ground and possible soil erosion. It is important that the child does not fall asleep.

During the work, excavators were involved, which made a deep dig to make it easier for rescuers to get to the boy.

According to Moroccan media, the child is alive, but suffered a head injury. From the top of the well, they managed to bring him water and food.

The rescue operation is monitored by local authorities, the media and the public.

Earlier, on October 15, it was reported that a five-year-old boy fell into a well covered with plywood near St. Petersburg. The child walking with her grandmother ran away from her, jumped onto a sheet of plywood that covered the well, and fell into it. The boy has a fracture of the radius. Investigators opened a criminal case.
