“In the province of Aleppo, as a result of a sniper attack by terrorists from the Barish region on the positions of government forces in the area of ​​​​the settlement of Safsafa, one Syrian soldier was wounded,” he said at a briefing.

Zhuravlev added that the Russian military police conducted patrols in the provinces of Aleppo, Raqqa and Hasakah, but no humanitarian actions were carried out over the past day.

Since the beginning of the settlement process, the Russian CPVS has carried out 3,051 humanitarian actions, while sending more than 5.3 thousand tons of humanitarian cargo, said the deputy head of the Center.

On January 31, Oleg Zhuravlev said that as a result of shelling by militants of the Islamic group Jabhat al-Nusra (a terrorist organization banned in the Russian Federation) in the provinces of Idlib and Aleppo, one Syrian soldier was injured.

A week earlier, it became known that one Syrian soldier was wounded in the area of ​​​​the village of Basratun in Aleppo, where terrorists from the Tekad region fired artillery. In addition, one military man was wounded as a result of a sniper attack by terrorists from the Fatira region on the positions of government forces in the area of ​​​​the village of Kafer Nebel in Idlib, another Syrian military was wounded in the area of ​​u200bu200bthe village of El Fatatuat, also in Idlib.

On January 6, the deputy head of the Russian TsPVS spoke about the risk of provocations aimed at exacerbating interethnic conflicts in the Syrian Trans-Euphrates by radical groups.
