On Saturday, FC Andorf, leader of the Landesliga West, celebrated a safe 3-0 home win in the derby against SK Schärding. On this day, the Andorf footballers had another reason to be happy: Before the encounter, the groundbreaking ceremony for the general renovation of the sports and leisure center took place. The completion is scheduled next year, just in time for the association’s 80th anniversary. As part of the work, the old grandstand building in its building fabric is renewed and thermally renovated. The showpiece will be the new catering area on the first floor including a large glass front with a perfect view of the field.
