New, innovative paths are taken in the Ried focus hospital. Since November, there has also been the innovative and digital call system “Cliniserve” as a supplement to the classic light call system, ie the “bell” in the beds of the patients. The project was implemented under the leadership of care manager Christoph Spann. “The implementation was carried out by a great and incredibly committed project team,” said Tuesday when the new digital solution was presented. The hospital in Ried is the first to use such a digital solution at all bed stations- except intensive and palliative care unit.
“I have been in Ried more often in the past few months, and I am always presented by managing director Johann Minihuber a new innovation. I am pleased that we have such a great and innovative hospital in Ried, where the employees are ready to break new ground. With this project, Ried is once again a pioneer. Of course, there are considerations to install this call system in other hospitals in Upper Austria.
The patient has the opportunity to explain the respective need closely at the terminal via “Cliniserve”. Localization and strength of the pain are also queried, for example. Then the request is distributed to a hospital employee by the system who has the required qualification level. In this way, it can be reacted to the needs of patients much more targeted and faster. The paths of the employees would also have been significantly shortened. Other advantages: The volume on the wards has been reduced, and the entire, extensive menu is also available in 19 foreign languages.
