The oldest Billa in the country is now a Corso

In November 1963, with the opening of the first Billa market in Landstrasse 44 in Linz, the foundation stone for Upper Austria was laid as “a business location that is important to us”, said Billa board member Harald Mießner yesterday afternoon. The reason for the memory was pre-opening with prominent guests of the food market in the city center, which was converted in eight months of construction.

The oldest of the 157 Billa locations of Upper Austria has been significantly enlarged and now offers customers the chance to immerse yourself in the multifaceted world of Billa Corso on more than 1500 square meters. The palette ranges from exquisite delicacies from all over the world to a wide selection of everyday products. The renovation created 43 new jobs, which now works 55 employees here.
