“When we arrived at the scene, not only the car was in full fire, the undergrowth also had already caught fire,” says commander Daniel Bernhard, from FF Hellmonsödt to the OÖNachrichten. “You can see again how dry everything is. The fire has really spread to the forest really quickly.”
The alarm was received at the state fire brigade center shortly after 4:30 p.m. Thanks to the rapid and coordinated use of four fire departments, further fire spread could be prevented.
