The stock exchanges as the mirror of world politics: While in the previous year the shares of technology companies were particularly crucial for the victory in the Börs play by OÖN and Raiffeisen Upper Austria, this year there was also a trend towards armaments. From January 30 to March 26, the approximately 12,000 participants were able to invest 50,000 euros in play money in shares as desired and observe the effects of the real course fluctuations on their depot.
Christian Strassmair, winner in the adult ranking, achieved a course increase of 44.09 percent. The 36-year-old Vorchdorfer also had stocks of Voestalpine and Commerzbank in his portfolio.
