Literature days honor the poet: Dora Dunkl was born 100 years ago

At the 9th edition of the Steyr Literature Days on Pentecost weekend from Friday, 6th to Saturday, June 8th, literature lovers can not only look forward to a selection of top -class writers, but also to an award -winning opening ceremony. These deny Martina Hefter, who comes from Pfronten in Bavaria, awards, which is often awarded to the German Book Prize, and the German draftsman, cartoonist and writer Tex Rubinowitz, who lives in Vienna, master of the invented anecdote.

The readings and discussions of the 9th Literature Days Steyr traditionally take place at Pentecost in the historic arcade courtyards and in the listed museum working world. The Dunklhof, probably the most beautiful and most famous inner courtyard in the city: on the occasion of the 100th birthday of Steyrian poet Dora Dunkl (1925–1982), the Matinee on Saturday is dedicated to her.
