Since the beginning of the year, the Pyhrn-Eisenwurzen Clinic (PEK) Kirchdorf has been rebuilt for the new magnetic resonance tomographer (MRI). If everything runs according to plan, the device can go into operation in the fourth quarter this year and thus further consolidate the attractiveness of the hospital. The Kirchdorf Clinic currently registers more than 9,000 inpatient and 53,000 outpatient services every year. Due to its proximity to the skiing and mountain sports region, it is essential in the main focus of orthopedics and trauma surgery. For this purpose, the future MRI will offer enormous advantages for exact diagnostics.
