These are the winners of the Ö3 Podcast Award

VIENNA. The most popular podcasts Austria was awarded the Ö3 Podcast Award for the fifth time. A total of almost 60,000 nominations for around 1,400 podcasts were received this year. A jury then determined the best 20 podcasts together with the Ö3 editorial team. And the audience favorite was ultimately able to prevail: “The café on the edge of friendliness” landed in 1st place. Julian Friedl scored second place with the podcast “Nothing comes nothing”, in which he interviews personalities every week who tell about failure on the way to the top. In third place landed “lovingly extreme”, in which the couple Sarah and Stefan Ager exchange ideas about everyday life with twin small children.

In the Newcomer podcast of the year – “Drama, Tea & Therapy” – entertain Julia Staffler, Victoria Plank and Simon Öhler about everyday and dramas, although it is funny and then again serious.
