Road users needed more patience than usual on Thursday morning when driving towards Linz: This time there were delays not only on the Nibelungen Bridge, but also in the south of the city. On the West Autobahn in the direction of Salzburg, there was a traffic accident shortly after six in the construction site area between St. Florian (Linz-Land district) and Ebelsberg. A car came to lie on the driver’s side, as could be seen in pictures from the scene of the accident.

The fire brigades Asten and St. Florian-Markt were alerted under the operational keyword “Personal Rescue Traffic Accident”. When they arrived, the occupants were already supplied by rescue workers. A towing company took over the removal of the accident car. For the fire brigades, the assignment was over after an hour.
