For another week, until April 11th, domestic companies can apply for the country’s largest economic award, the Pegasus. Submission is possible online at news.at/pegasus2025 in five categories: innovation kaiser, lighthouses, success stories, future hopes and managers of the year. The list of applicants becomes longer every day.
In the success stories, Marlene Hackl, managing director of the Freistädter photo book specialist Happy Photo, applied: she leads the second generation, founded in 1978 as a one -man company. Happy Photo, which also serves the Maße Czech Republic, Slovakia and Germany, never saw digitization as a threat, but always as an opportunity and was the first provider to enable the digital uploading of photos.
