The 70-year-old from St. Agatha (Grieskirchen district) may have been dead on the spot. She was traveling towards Braunau with her dog on Altheimer Strasse, B148. In a light right -hand bend, the driver had got on the opposite lane and collided with an oncoming truck. “The car was dragged around 50 meters from the truck,” says the State Police Directorate on Friday afternoon. The handlebar and the traveling dog did not survive the serious accident.

The first firefighters came to the scene of the accident around 11.30 a.m. and found the destroyed vehicles. “The car put under the truck,” says operations manager Thomas Hatheier from the Weng fire brigade.
