In her own words, Princess Kate finds experiences in nature as spiritual. This was said by the 43-year-old queen in a joint visit with scouts in the Lake District National Park in the northwest of England on Tuesday. In a video that was spread on social media, the woman of heir to the throne Prince William (42) can be seen on a walk with the top scouts of the country, Dwayne Fields.
Feeling of peace in a busy world
Kate is co-president of the scouts, as the scouts are called in their country of origin. “I find it a very spiritual and emotionally very intensive experience – a kind of return, I appreciate – in such places,” replies Kate on Fields’ question of how she is doing in nature. The two can be seen with young scouts on the banks of Lake Windermere, the largest lake in England. Not everyone has the same relationship with nature, Kate emphasized, for them it was a place where they find a feeling of peace in a very busy world.
