The 37-year-old who was rescued from the Jauckerbach in Linz on Tuesday evening woke up from artificial deep sleep yesterday. She wasn’t questioned yesterday. The police said they wanted to give her time to collect herself after the tragedy.
As reported, the woman and her 33-year-old partner fell into the stream near the Ebelsberg power plant for reasons that have not yet been clarified. Witnesses heard the cries for help and were able to keep the woman afloat with a branch until emergency services arrived. After a search of several hours, her partner could only be rescued dead from the water on Wednesday.
In order to clarify the circumstances of the accident, the woman should be questioned in the coming days. The body of the 33-year-old will be forensically examined tomorrow.
