Around 3:40 p.m., a 38-year-old from the Freistadt district became aware of a fire in the garage of a two-family house due to a loud bang. It was the son of the two homeowners, 63 and 58 years old. When the fire brigades arrived, the garage and a car parked in it were already in full fire.
The emergency services of a total of eight fire departments deleted the fire. The three homeowners and a neighbor present had previously tried to master the flames with three hand -fire extinguishers and a garden hose, but this did not succeed.
All three people were initiated by the on -site rescue gas poisoning for suspected flue gas poisoning, but remained unharmed.
