For 15 years now, Sabine Hutterer and her mother Rosa Schiendorfer have been knitting socks to sell for the benefit of the Regau Lebenshilfe workshop. The sale usually takes place at Christmas markets. This was not possible last year, but since word of the quality of their knitting has spread over the years, they managed to sell their products even without markets and thus earn 1215 euros. Hutterer and Schiendorfer recently handed over the donation to Edeltraud Nussbaumer, the house spokeswoman for the Regau self-help workshop, and workshop manager Ulrich Lohberger. “Above all, I find the commitment of our loyal sock knitters and donors remarkable,” Lohberger praises the commitment of the two women.
