Sustainable building and living gains relevance for the Austrians. This is shown by an investigation by the Spectra market research institute on behalf of the Raiffeisen Bausparkasse. 2203 people between the ages of 18 and 69 were interviewed, and the survey has been held regularly since 2021.
81 percent rate the topic as very important or important. “The shortage of building plots and increasing prices for building resources will continue to make living space a central social topic in the future,” says Hans-Christian Vallant, Managing Director of Raiffeisen Bausparkassen. “Existing residential buildings and already built -up land are becoming more important when it comes to creating living space.”
