It is one of the most famous tourist attractions in the Bay of San Francisco (US state of California). In 1963 the prison island of Alcatraz was closed due to high operating costs. For 29 years, the “rock” was the ban on the ban on troublemakers and outdoor kings. It was a prison for severe criminals such as Al Capone, George “Machine Gun” Kelly, Alvin “Creepy” Karpis and Robert Stroud. Now US President Donald Trump ordered the notorious prison to be restored.

Around 40 prisoners tried to escape over the years. Most were caught, some were shot on the run, others drowned. Only in a few cases her fate remained in the dark. Like that of three prisoners who had managed to disappear from the island in 1962.
