Since March, citizens in the Karling district of Hartkirch have been working on their joint project, a new playground and meeting place for all generations. Actually, the members of the Karlinger Kulturverein only wanted to invest in a new slide and swing at the existing old playground. “It has become the project, moving around 100,000 euros because many motivated people had ideas and we have dared to do it together,” says chairwoman Nicole Huemer.

The Leader region Eferdinger Land also convinced so much initiative, which contributed 60 percent of the costs, i.e. 60,000 euros, through the EU funding program, and Mayor Wolfram Moshammer, which was unable to redesign in view of a difficult budget situation. The approximately 2150 square meter area is a municipal area. The design, work and the purchase of the new play equipment are carried out by the Karlingen citizens. Support from the community comes for care.
