“It is my first inauguration as Minister of Justice” that she was pleased, said the new Minister of Justice Anna Sporrer on Monday at the official ceremony for the inauguration of Hofrat Philip Christl as the new head of the Ried judicial institution. “It is nice if you can celebrate something gratifying in a rather tense time,” said Sporrer. She knew what great challenges the prison brought with it. She would “devote herself to energy,” said the SPÖ minister.
“In our portfolio, inmates are from around 110 countries. I know that this presents the staff with enormous linguistic and cultural challenges,” said Sporrer. To Philip Christl she said: “Already her previous career shows that you do not shy away from new challenges, changes and big tasks. I am glad that we have found an excellently qualified employee with you who is aware of the great responsibility in this office and that the Ried judiciary will conduct carefully and future -oriented.” At the end of your speech, Sporrer formulated three wishes to Christl: “Establish this judiciary for the future, make the processes carefully and keep this team together.”
The minister expressed a big thank you to all employees of the enforcement institutions and in particular the previous head of the Ried prison, Ministerial Councilor David Klingbacher, and deputy head Richard Stagl. Stagl also led the yes Ried as an interim director for some time.
