Fire broke out in the basement of an apartment building for reasons that are still unknown. At around 5:30 p.m., the fire service received the alarm. Numerous emergency services moved to bring the residents of the smoky house to safety. According to the fire brigade, there was a massive smoke development that spread throughout the building.
14 people had to be rescued from their homes. For the duration of the operation, Linz AG provided a bus in which the residents could warm up. According to initial information, three people were taken to a hospital for control. Further inquiries are carried out by the police.
