An unusual picture has been offered by visitors and municipal citizens since Thursday afternoon in the center of Ebensee (Gmunden district): The maypole, which has been standing up in front of the town hall of the Saline Community since the beginning of the month, has lost its top. The strong north wind, which swept through the Salzkammergut through the Salzkammergut in the early afternoon, was doomed to the top: the upper part of the wooden pile bended.
