The wine of the week: Untouched

The winegrowers from Upper Austria attract attention with their wines. At the second state wine tasting, a jury in a blind tasting chose the best wines in 13 categories.

Lukas Schiefermair was able to win in three categories (GV 23 & 24, rosé and sweet wines). The Kronbergerhof won the frizzante classification, the Aichinger winery won first in the champagne ranking, the Nußböckgut won in the White Burgundy Category, Manfred & The Seine at the Weißwein-Cuvées. First place in the white variety of viticulture went to Innviadla viticulture, the best Piwi produces the siblings Wurm and the Greindl family. Rank first in mature white wines the Gaumberggut achieved, the Hofweinut Schmuckenschlager won the alternative wine ranking with Zweigelt, Armin Kienesberger.
