The Catalans won the city derby at Espanyol 2-0 on Thursday and can no longer be pushed out of the top two rounds before the end with seven points ahead of the dethroned Champion Real Madrid. The 17-year-old top star Lamine Yamal scored the first goal with a remarkable Schlenzer in the Kreuzeck (53.), Fermin Lopez (95th). Cornella de Llobregat provided the decision.
Before that, Barca had a hard time. Espanyol struggled to save their own fans a master party of the city rival. After the stroke of genius of Yamal, the table-16, which is not yet single, was unique. To make matters worse, Espanyol’s Leandro Cabrera saw the red card in the 80th minute after an assault against Yamal.
